“ Wow, awesome food. Jose Valdemar was a stellar attendant with great suggestions and a fun demeanor. I absolutely loved that they provided blanket wraps when it got windy, so we could stay dining outside. A definite recommendation! ”
“ While visiting San Jose del Cabo in the month of June, we went on a Thursday to experience the art walk. Aside from all the beautiful art, the food was the same... beautiful presentation and taste! We had to try Agave Kitchen. The food, atmosphere, and service were exceptional!! ”
“ We had a delightful evening on the rooftop at Agave. Our server, Jose, was so attentive and delightful making sure everything was perfect. The food absolutely exceeded our expectations in presentation and flavors. Our highlights were the excellent “wood fired” burrata and roasted oysters for appetizers. The suckling pig dish makes some of the best tacos I’ve ever had! The roasted chicken and pasta dish were fantastic, too. Very good value for the quality! You won’t necessarily notice it on the street since the restaurant is on the roof but do yourself a favor and find it, and ask for Jose. You won’t regret it. Lunch is a different menu and also excellent! ”
“ Cool spot offering good eats, yummy libations and great service......with a view of the town. A friend recommended this place so we dined here on our last night in Cabo. Upon arrival, it didn’t look too busy, but there are layers to this restaurant. There’s the bar downstairs, then upstairs there’s two open areas; one overlooks the town and the other is a quieter area. Food is really good. I actually thought it was a farm to table concept, but our server said it was not. Didn’t matter bc the food tasted fresh and was definitely made of good quality ingredients. Isabel was our initial server, and she had help from a gentleman whose name I forgot. Both were super friendly, funny and very attentive. My party all had the same entrees (lechon) and I had the fettucine with braised short ribs; both very good. We shared the burrata and kampachi apps; both a MUST; ask for more bread to soak up that deliciousness from the burrata. For dessert, the gals got the espresso martini (one of the better ones I’ve had) and we shared the pear crumble. Everything was GOOD! Would definitely go back for another taste. Please note the 1000 spend per person is based on PESOS so about 90 usd per person. Worth it though...... ”
“ Agave Kitchen was amazing! Marco Antonio did a fantastic job of taking care of us. They closed up an area for us and turned on the A/C for our comfort when they realized we and the baby were a little over heated. The drinks were delicious and the food was absolutely amazing! We can't wait to come back for more tuna tostadas. Great place!! ”
“ I am in love with our experience at Agave Kitchen We were fortunate to have a lovely evening to enjoy the rooftop dining area. The food was delicious. The view of downtown San Jose is fun to enjoy from above. The service was top-notch. We will definitely visit again! Please note: If you want to enjoy Art Walk when the town comes alive, visit on a Thursday night. ”
“ Just left the restaurant a few minutes ago and was delighted with the food, drinks and specially the service. Iliana & Angel were great servers and Edgar at the door was amazing in suggesting the restaurant. If you go, the rooftop is a must.Five stars all the way. ”
“ A fabulous dinner for all! What a treat: we felt so special by the staff here. When ordering for 6, dinners can get overwhelming but the staff took exceptional care of us. We had a table with a gorgeous view of the sunset. After ordering our first round of drinks, the bartender offered us surprise drinks that tickled the taste buds--definitely trust them! Our starter to our after-dinner coffees were beautiful. The meal highlights were the totoaba fish prepared phenomenally and served with beautiful fresh tortillas. Also, anything roasted vegetable is out of this world amazing. The sauces and toasted nuts alongside the dishes give it the extra finish that just can't be replicated. Cheers to the chef and all of agave for giving us a memorable experience of food and views! ”
